Putz Window House with Image

Has anyone tried this? I found an image on google of a Victorian family around the Christmas tree. I re-sized it to fit in Howard's picture window putz house, and printed it out on regular paper. Then I put it inside two larger pieces of clear cellophane and glued the edges. When I made this house ...

First Handmade Putz House

I made my first putz house from Little Glitter House templates: the picture window house; in purple; and found an image for the window of a family around the Christmas tree. Then I decorated the yard with an old tree with mercury bead balls and a large bow jewelry pendant at the top. FUN TIMES!

My 2012 Creations: Putz Houses

Well, I finally decided to make a few putz houses of my own (with the help of Howard and Paul, of course). They certainly aren't as elaborate as some I've seen that other people have made (good job everyone) but I had a great time making them.

I did find out one thing when you're creating: times ...

Re: Reference Book

Yes, I set the village up at Christmas, and it was truly amazing. I DARED anyone to touch it, especially the grandchildren. Does anyone have a date for it?

I also have another set that came in the box, and the strangest thing was -- it had paper windows. Paper? Who in the world would use paper ...

Re: Reference Book

Here you go! Apparently, they were sold by Spiegel. Can't read the date, however.

Re: Reference Book

Hi Howard, it's Yonna. Haven't talked with you in a long time.

Do you think Pete would be interested in seeing a picture of a putz village I just purchased at an estate sale, still in the box? The lady passed away at age 92 and her husband was in the military. I got vintage ornaments from all over ...

My Putz Tree

I'm so happy with my collection that I decided to have a putz tree this year. I'm not finished decorating it yet, but here's a preliminary picture.
