Re: Interesting house
OK, checking out Barb's house, it is the earlier version of the one in the BairClan set from Ted's /Howard's photo. Check out the rectangular framed openings in Barb's version and compare them to the BairClan example. The BairClan house has a flat-arched left side window and full arched windows ...

Re: Interesting house
THOSE ARE THE INTERESTING VERY EARLY WINDOWS that I was trying to find in other houses!
It seems that they are only in the big lakkies, and probably were only done for one year. Very rare!
I am sure Barb experienced this, but these particular very early, and BIG, lakkies have SLIGHTLY larger window ...

Re: 2017 Putz Village: Cars & Leftovers
Maria C included a repeat link to Pat's 2017 putz in her blog today, so I got to revisit Pat's putz (FAB-U-LUCIOUS!).
The lakkie that Barb fixed for Pat has a twin in the BairClan set. While recovering from knee surgery, I rehabbed both my knee and the BairClan set. For my version of that lakkie ...

Re: Will's house of "Stucco & Stone"...
Great job, Will!
Here in Tucson there is one house remaining on one of our busy main drags that has the original green clay tile roof. I have salivated over that material forever. The house is original from around 1925, and the tiles are not painted, they are actually the green you captured for your ...

Tom, that is the only hacienda "light house" I have ever seen. Super nice job with the restoration!

Re: Any history on these
Yes, Lynn is correct.
You see a similar set of houses that are all glitter, but in dark colors (blue, magenta /red, green, silver) and they came in a box of 6. Similar size to these.

Re: SEE THIS AMAZING JAPAN PUTZ HOUSE PHOTO NOW!
You are exactly right, Howard.
I have this "urban building" and several others. I really like the arched entry on this bldg and could imagine an entry like that with balcony above for the skyscraper. I am thinking that the eventual pattern for the flat-top skyscraper should provide for the building ...

Re: My "Princess Putz" cottage...
So darling! I too love the window boxes, but my favorite part is the chimney. The code enforcers would give you a big A+ because it is at least 2' taller than the roof ridge. I also love the colors and the gold window trim. Your mom will love it!
