NOT TECHNICALLY A VILLAGE, BUT A SIDE BY SIDE LAMEY & JAPAN

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

NOT TECHNICALLY A VILLAGE, BUT A SIDE BY SIDE LAMEY & JAPAN

Post by maria »

Putting away the decorations gives you an opportunity to show things side by side; on the right, a vintage made in Japan kitschy Santa musical clock; it plays jingle bells--it's a wind-up--and the clock arms go round and round while Santa spins. On the left is an interpretation of the clock--made by Howard Lamey with a drawer in the back so the face lights up--it can accomomdate a tea light or something larger--the pixie is late 70's Japanese--and there's a slit so that the light comes up onto the platform where she's sitting.
