castle?...hacienda?...small "flatiron" building?...

Post by Howard »

good evening...

for years i have been saving pictures that maria has posted on her blog and bulletins...

here's one i wanted to build for a long time...it was inspired by one of those images...

like i said...castle?...hacienda?...small "flatiron" building?...guess it really doesn't matter what you call it...

base measures 4" x 8" x 5/8" high...total height is 5" including the base...

i added some small single-face trim to the body and the balcony...

it will have a sand finish...colors not set yet...may break with tradition and go with "silver trees"...

shame on me...

my very best regard...

good morning...

here is the finished house...still undecided if i want to add "snow-tex" highlights...there is so much going on already as far as texture and color...went with mica and glitter finish rather than the sand finish...

i did go with silver trees with silver and crystal clear glitter highlights...couldn't find the silver trees so i spray painted two white trees from walmart...

my very best regards...howard...
