"Wreath House"...a brick printie...

Post by Howard »

good morning...

here's my "little glitter house version" of an original brick printie...i can't post the picture of the inspiration house since i can not locate the source of the image and it may be copyrighted...

a slant roof, mid-century modern design...printed brick paper over cardboard...cotton batting roofs...sand textured base...glitter and mica flakes highlights...hand-cut, gold foil paper window mullions...craft store wreath...two bottle brush trees...

base measures 3 1/2" x 6" x 3/4" thick...overall height, including base, is 4 1/2"...

i want to mention one thing about the cotton batting roofs...i did wrap the batting around the edges of the roofs just like lynn did on her candy box house reproduction...the wrap looks fuller than trimming the batting flush with the edges of the roof...

my very best regards...howard...

Howard, that looks GREAT. Your "flattie" looks right at home, too.

Love the house!!! The cotton top is cool and your choice of door and windows is perfect!!! I agree with Paul, the flatties are super cool to see with the houses, they really set the scene.
