Some houses I've been working on...

Post by Clinton »

Here are some houses that I am working on right now. One of a repro of a 1950's house (the blue/pink castle) and the church is one I have custom designed. I just put some gold paper mullions in them. Just need some trees and a fence on both. I will keep you all posted on their progress. :)

Is there water that will be running through the tunnels? I've not seen that design before.

Thanks Mary

Hahaha!! That would be a cool effect, right Mary? Probably not on this one, as I am trying to make it an "authentic" repro of its vintage counterpart. I still need to make its fence and put up some topiary though. ;) I'll keep you posted here and on the Nutz4Putz FB page as well. :)

So it has bushes in front of the tunnels? Do you have a picture of the vintage, I had not seen it before and was curious as to how it was to look. Is there a site that has pictures of the vintage houses you can scroll through? I see some here and there or you have to dig through lots of other pages to see them. I do find an occasional new one on Pinterest and of course these groups. Maybe I've even been on one and not realized it. Thanks, Mary

You knew about Ted's Archive, hosted by Paul.

Lots of houses in there.

Thank you, I've been there and did not explore all the pages. Will hit them all now but I guess I was looking for a catalog type where there was a close-up of each house and a brief blurb about them. I'm one of those people who will practically stick my nose up against the item to get a good look and some of the pictures are small and don't blow-up very well, big baby, I know. PIA. Love looking at them and then adding to my list to make. Going back to finish looking, Thanks again.

Yes Howard. They were hand cut! Not as nice as yours though. Thanks for the compliment on the castle. Let me know friend and I'll send you my template for you to build one if interested.
