German Half-Timbered Christmas House

Post by Lucy »

A student I am working with requested a Christmas house in a German style so this Half-Timbered house is what I came up with. I am really happy with how it turned out. See what you think.

WOW!!

That brick work and stucco really make it special.

I love it! The shape of the house would also lend itself to the gingerbread house from Hansel and Gretel. Perhaps with the witch for Halloween!

Lucy, this is a terrific rendition of the style... I just love half-timbered houses, along with stone houses,
and you've got the best of both here. Love the oak front door, too.
Great job!

Thank you, everybody. I love to do the stone stencil surface, but overall making Christmas houses is not my main skill. I suspect I need to work on it more.
