Pete, I keep getting questions about how folks should replace their windows, and you haven't posted your mullions here yet, so I took the liberty.

Pete Oehmen has figured out a way to make replacement "coconut" for our coconut houses. ("Coconut" is a shredded celophane-like material used to represent snow on some putz houses.)

Pete has also invested in a set of "dies," professional stamping equipment, that will let him stamp windowframes out of appropriate material, such as gold foil. He's still working out how to price and sell them, but these frames, backed with red celophane (which Pete will also be providing), will provide a very nice replacement for most putz house windows, or resources for building new, authentic putz house recreations.

Cool Idea.

Are the sizes documented anywhere.

My wife has a diecut machine she uses for scrap booking.

With a little work I could get it to cut out some windows
for the few houses I build.

But having a new retail source for windows would be real good too.

Oh, also doors. My supply I bought awhile back has almost been depleted.

What sort of machine does your wife have? I've been experimenting with an old Cricut Expressions with SCAL2 (a combination you can't get any more.)

It's a Pazzles mini.

easy to use once you get the size right in the layup software.

Pete,

what software do you use? I build my stencil graphics in CorelDraw, then use an old copy of SCAL2 to send them to the Cricut.

The software the Pazzles uses is called Funtime Scrapbook Pro.

Takes almost any image in. JPG, BMP ect.
And make it a cut file for the cutter we have.

So I could theoretically send you an SVG and you'd be able to cut it on your pazzles.

Those are way cool. My dad was a printer and I remeber the days of watching his die machines at work.

Since we seem to have a cool source of mullions now.

Does any one have some artwork for the printed doors.
Such as in BMP or jpg.

I was buying them from Papa Ted. But my supply is getting small.

I think I could send them to an inkjet print.
Not as good as the Papa Ted version, but passable for my homemades.
