Christmas Display at the Local Museum MOSTLY Haciendas +

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Tom, amazing collection on display. Loved looking at all of it. I am beginning to really appreciate the haciendas more recently. They're so fun and colorful and inventive.

What a collection. The close ups are delightful and I just love that Mickey house and the Santa window houses.

Merry Christmas, wonderful job Thomas. I love when collections are share. It increases awareness to our hobby. I like the the potential for a permanent home. There are at least 6 building that I HAVE to borrow for the Collector's Guide before you are separated from your babies.

Tom,

I am always amazed by the variety in your collection. I understand your regret that they aren't displayed to their best advantage, but I am glad they're out in the public eye.

Merry Christmas -

What wonderful comments - a treasure for sure. What this collection does NOT imply that the Haciendas of which I have about 90% on display here is probably less than a third of my whole collection. LOTS of coconut a few lacquies and Odd ball USA stuff like the DILCO Toys Spanish revival or the late twenties. And loggies - Fuzzy window paper label houses is a BIG chunk. There is probably nothing that I like to do better than to fix up an old house. Most houses on the market today are "Fixer-uppers" and often going for hefty prices. The price of all of it is getting (HAS gotten) out of hand. Love to do it though as do most of you. Hoping all of you have a great holiday with lots of wonderful memories. Love to all. Tom
