REMOTE CONTROL PUTZ HOUSE LIGHTING IS NOW AVAILABLE...

Post by Pete R.Oehmen »

It's been a dream of mine and Now I made it real. First Prototype Remote Control Putz House Lighting. No more ugly and cumbersome wires. Just clip onto the back holes edge, hide the battery pack behind the house (white plastic blends in with your cotton snow) and use the remote to turn on an off the light. Two double AA batteries last three weeks (constantly on). You might use it four hours a night? I know I'd use the 3D printer for Putzing I just wasn't sure how! 12 or 24 units per set (more units can be added if you wish). Now to move on to the Raffia Fence Project!

Hello Howard. I can put any colored LED that I want on the unit. My next experiment is to put 3 LEDs on one unit so you can thread the light to towers and other rooms or just have a brighter light. The unit has a slight flicker that resemble TV light, movement of people in the house or with a amber LED it looks like fireplace flames. It can run as many lights as one wishes. Price structure is something I'm working right now. Like most everything cost is up until you mass produce.

This is now the third prototype. The lights are brighter. I already have a new solution in the works. A lot of the putz houses have towers, room extensions and dormers. I putting three LED on a single 6" wire. The lights cam now be bundled together for one bright light or strung through the house to towers, rooms and dormers. That should do the trick. Here are some pictures of the new light to show how well these lights work. Lynn wanted to see how the house looks all lit up. A side note: The lights have a slight flicker. This emulated either a fireplace ablaze perhaps the flutter of a TV or other activities going on inside the house.
