Horse Car "Flattie"

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Horse Car "Flattie"

Post by Howard »

Greetings to all...

I have been looking for a "flattie" project that would grab my attention and just have to built...and I found it...it's pretty straight forward...but there are lots of little parts to cut and fit...about 50 so far...and there are still details to be added...

I'm going to prime and paint the three major sub assemblies as individual parts...then glue together with epoxy or super glue...this will make the detailing much easier...

More later...stay tuned...

Howard...

Update...09-04-2021...

Finished...somewhere around 60 or so parts all together...a lot more than I thought it would ever be...I added the 1/32" wide gold tape to the major features on the horse car to give the white more contrast with the snow on the base...and a hint of light blue paint on the snow base under the glitter for more contrast...
