RARE OF THE RAREST,.. EXTENDED CHIMNEY HOUSES & FAMILY

Post by Pete R.Oehmen »

RARE OF THE RAREST... It is unlikely that you may ever see a picture like this again. Three of the rarest Extended Chimney Houses together in one scene. You may find one of these houses occasionally but you may never find them with their original Chimney Extensions. To this day we have no idea why the Japanese decided to add this feature. As of right now we are not aware of any additional pieces to this set but we do know that they are part of an exclusive set of houses. The larger Clock Tower Building are family to these three.
The "Flat Iron Building", the City Hall" and the "High School Building" fit right in. There are two other that belong to this group as well but I don't have pictures of them right now. Notice the bases on these structures. They are the same size with fence posts that are capped.
Actually this is the family that always has the "Round Paper Label" on the bottom as well as "Fuzzy Window Mullions". Many of the Pre-WWII Green Spots are from this family.
This grouping is a team effort. It took four of us collector's to pull this off. These will be feature at the "Golden Glow of Christmas Past Convention" this July in Lombard, Il. Part of Chicago. Hope to see you there. Eight display cases, 40 shelves of The Best of the Best.

I love it when a plan comes together. Thanks to Pete and others for arranging this display and especially to Pete for sharing pics.
