Nice clear photos; they'd be a good reference for anyone trying to replicate or restore those particular models.

Can't imagine why the seller imagines the set is worth seven grand.

One of these days I'll master the art of the loofah tree...nice examples here.

Yup, that's a brilliant tutorial; my problem is that I haven't been able to find a reliable, reasonably-priced loofah supplier. Most of what I have found (at the local farmers' market) is in raw form, so it needs to husked, soaked, and cut apart before I can even get to a starting point. That first bit of the process has been problematic.

Are you near any dollar or craft stores? You can often find it there?

Thanks, Maria, I've got a few errands to run today prepping for a road-trip Upstate this Memorial Day weekend...while I'm out, I'll swing by the craft store and see what they have. I checked their (Michael's, Jo-Ann's, Hobby Lobby) websites, but I don't see much.

The local farmers' market starts back up this weekend...maybe I'll check over there when I get back from NY. Someone else suggested the bath/body stores.
