CLOCK FACES

This forum is a place for our readers to pass on things they've figured out that will help other readers. Several folks who are experienced in building, collecting, and displaying putz houses stop by frequently, so check back for new ideas, and add some yourself. Any suggestions you have, things you've learned that you'd like to pass on, weird problems you need help with, all are welcome here. - Paul

CLOCK FACES

Post by maria »

Somewhere on this forum is a request for clock faces. I know that there are copies available of the original faces on putz houses but when I came across a link for these, I thought I'd post in case they fill a niche need for someone...they come in various sizes

Thanks, Maria, Pete has them ready to sell. And I have a file I have yet to post, too. Too many other projects. :-)

I came across this booklet--it's fascinating--by the Seth Thomas Co.--it's all about clock towers--with lots of illustrations--and perhaps some putzing architectural inspiration--thought I'd share

P.S. Finally got our clock face page posted at:

This is based on graphics Brian developed for Ted. Since nobody is going to need thirty of the same exact graphic, we made several versions to choose from in various shades and sizes. The smaller ones aren't exactly authentic, but they sure look cute in mini-putz ornaments. - Paul
