ELECTRIC PUTZS

Post by maria »

Among some of the odder putzs out there are these electric houses--with a plug in stand alone light. A lot are made of cardboard, with wood and plastic as well.

One thing about this one - unlike the 8-to-a-set houses we're used to, this one was probably never meant to be part of a community. Just a way of dressing up an end table or something. Love the Bavarian-on-steroids graphics on the building's walls, though. :-)

Agreed. Here's another one from my collection; this one is cardboard, plastic and mirror. 1960's. The one up to is late 50's, early 60's.
