Pete's Latest Experiment

This forum is a place for our readers to pass on things they've figured out that will help other readers. Several folks who are experienced in building, collecting, and displaying putz houses stop by frequently, so check back for new ideas, and add some yourself. Any suggestions you have, things you've learned that you'd like to pass on, weird problems you need help with, all are welcome here. - Paul

I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to getting one of these things; I've even tried making my own throughout the years without success. To have a REAL tool like this would be a boon and would encourage me to make many more houses than I do. I am deadly with windows, doors and an exacto knife...but have no difficulty making other "larger" cuts....I so want one of these that I am already designing and creating new houses in my head!

My dad, when he was alive ran a print shop.
He had some punch dies kinda like this.

The punches would screw into a setup that had a handle.
You could position the paper under it and then pull down on the handle to
make the punch thru the material.

Similar to an arbor press.

I could see these adapted to that setup pretty easy.

Hate to ask, but I'm figuring the beta test one cost a bit to get machined.

As most people have posted. I too am pretty excited if these become available.
I love to see a door shaped one.

Keep us posted.

Just wondering if this was a proof of concept or you were heading to a sellable
product.

Would be pretty cool.

Did not want this to slide too far down the page.

Any word on these.

Just an experiment or something more?
