Re: Putz Village Photos
Hi everyone, this is my first post so I hope it's in the right place. I've been trying to add to my ceramic village, but decided to try making some items instead. Here's what I ended up making.

For some reason, some of the images are showing sideways. If you right click and say "show image" it shows them correctly. Huh.
Thanks for sharing, I'm sure that adds a lot to your village - Paul

My hardware store window display. This year my sister Pat was artistic director, and it was she who created the skiing hill, bridge and overall design. Many of her pieces are featured, including the large German putz house in the foreground. My daughter shot the video for me, and I think she did a great job! Enjoy, and Merry Christmas to all!

Barb, it's lovely, tasteful, and inventive, and the video is very charming. Thanks for posting.
Re: Putz Village Photos
Barb, thanks for sharing the video of your window. It is wonderful! The musical background couldn't be any more perfect. Vince Guaraldi and Christmas are such good companions.
And maybe passing admirers will be inspired to join those of us who appreciate and accumulate Christmas putz pieces. It really is a case of "the more the merrier." They will help find and bring to market pieces that might otherwise be discarded in another's lack of knowledge.
