Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. All of the houses on the piano are fairly recent aquisitions EXCEPT for the old German Smoker Incense Burner in the middle. And yes, I burned cone type incense in it this year
In the foreground of photo 1 are some items from the Dollar General local store AND the little trim a tree train that I need to work on. This engine is a favorite of mine. LOVE the old early 50's look of the Santa Fe locomotive.
Photo 2 is of the right side of the display and has a restored Papa Ted Lacquie house as well as a Neat little hacienda he once owned.
The third photo are all houses that I purchased from Papa Ted's collection and all have been put back right. The palm trees were also from his collection. The big tree in the back center are a couple of DEAD small end branches of a Lilac bush in the back yard.

This first photo is of the left side of the piano display. The Nutcracker is New and a gift to my Nephew but he left it here - perhaps inadvertently. I think he will be back but in the meantime he looks real nice. The other pieces are all old.
Photo 2 is a close up of a German city scape unit and is in just fair condition but I have NO plans on a restoration. Some things it is better to live with as they are and this is one of those things. The odd little Orange and Blue house on the extreme right was from the Papa Ted collection and you will notice it has NO windows but merely stamped prints of windows over orange painted rectangles that represent windows AND the door IS cellophane but the gold stamped print on it is crude and cursory. Still an interesting if not particularly spectacular type. But Uncle Tom always did have a heart for the odd balls! ENJOY!

Hi Tom, very nice layout on your piano. Funny thing is I just saw one of those German groupings on ebay, I had never seen 1 before. They're asking $300 for it. Almost identical to yours, have a look #281589325521
