Pete's windows and door dies

Post by Lucy »

I went ahead and splurged on Pete's set of dies. They are so easy to use. I have a very inexpensive set of dies that I ordered from ebay, but they are nothing compared to these. These dies cut so easily. I got an arbor press from Northern Tool for about $60. Pete says that a drill press would be much better and it doesn't even have to work. He supplied me with a magnet to use with a drill press when I get one.

I've got some pictures to show you how nicely the dies cut. Pete recommended cutting on a plastic cutting board which I just happened to have.

I think these really save time. And if anyone makes that incredible multistory building that Howard designed a few days ago, you will definitely benefit from having these dies.
