making a "boy and girl" flattie for the lake house project..

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

making a "boy and girl" flattie for the lake house project..

Post by Howard »

greetings to all...

here's another "flattie"...made just like all the others...except this one won't have any layering details...the areas where i normally add layering is just too small...so i'll paint in the details...

note...the arms and legs are fragile...so i glued pieces of small paper clip wire to the backs for strength...

i'll post a finished picture later...both here...and in the post about making the "lake house"...http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forum ... f=2&t=1063

my very best regards...

howard...

The figures are two of our grandchildren. Was going to put in just a florida gator flag. But the figures make it more personal.

How about a flattie of an aligator wearing a scarf and knit cap? :-)
