1941 Dolly Village completed with Santa

I finished my Dolly Santa and sleigh to make my village complete. After copying Santa I hand drew and cut out the sleigh and reindeer. They have 5 coats of white acrylic paint and I finished them with my ground mica, like the houses. I sort of posed them like the catalogue ad (enclosed). It was rather time consuming, but a fun project.

Laurie it came out beautiful! All the houses look great together. It's really nice to see the original pictue with your set.

I'm with Lynn and Will!...truly a wonderful set...Your houses arranged like the vintage catalog ad is an "inspired touch"...

Do you have any new projects in the works?...perhaps you could give us a sneak peek...

Thanks everyone, for the kind comments. Howard, I wish I could give you a sneak peak, but alas, nothing is in the works at the moment. When current projects are done and the heat of summer draws me back inside, I might like to try making a lackie. We shall see.
