I love the owl and I would also love to see his/her eyes lite. The tree is perfect!

Here are a few photos with a light behind the owl's eyes. It's not as dramatic as a little house all lit up, but it does give a little shine to the owl.
I am figuring out how to do tree bark with paper mache much better. When I glued the owl down the supports were not quite dry and it kind of shifted the owl to one side during the drying process. I will do the supports better next time. Also I'd like to do supports that would allow the light to form a halo effect around the owl. Have to figure out how to do that.
This was a really fun project and relatively easy in the scheme of things.
