House on Ebay

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Thanks so much, Steve!! I got lucky, thankfully the ebay seller took lots of photos and emailed me several key Dimensions...it really helped get it down.

The base looks like yellow and blue and green mixed.

Cool effect.

Brian...

I've been checking the forum regularly hoping to see the finished version...well...I'm not disappointed...but never thought I would be...

The little dog is the perfect accent piece...I for one would like to see a close up or two of the painting being done...

Speaking of Pete's castings...has anyone ordered and painted any of the Santas?...

My very best regards...Howard...

Many many thanks for the kind words!! It was fun building a house again. Hopefully I'll get sometime to work on more soon. I actually started a project I'm really looking fwd to sharing with you all, but the artwork is pretty labor intensive...more than just making a pattern. I hope I'll find time to finish it!! :o

Steve, you are almost right on, I used green and blue coco, and a off white.... not sure why it came out so yellow in the photo....probably the flash. The coco is on a teal green base coat.

Howard Im going to start another thread right now with the pics of painting Pete's figurines.

Good Evening!!

I was messing around with my phone and youtube, and made a tiny video of my new house for fun. The video does a better job with the colors than my pics did...guess I need some photography lessons! :)

Also, I have plans to publish the pattern for everybody in a .pdf I can share on the forum. I've had a couple requests now, my new project is getting my artwork attention for a bit, but I'll try to get to it soon.

Thanks
-Brian
