Magnifying Lights

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Hello All - Not sure about the rest of you but the eyesight isnt as good as it used to be and painting figurines requires a very steady hand. I picked up one of these gizmos on Amazon. They can be used for painting figurines and such. They are also used for soldering and other processes, hence the spring like holding feature. I think it was about $20.
