Three girls, a wagon, gifts and a tree "Flattie" project...

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

These are so incredible. I love the coloring on Barb project and the depth and shine on Howard's. I love seeing the flatties.

Hi all,

Thank you for the nice words! Lynn, I did not prime first. I'm usually so eager to get the color on that I can't wait for anything like primer to get started. I just started coloring away with the gel pens. Where I DID have to wait was for the gel colors to dry thoroughly before coating with Mod Podge for a glossy finish. I also used some watered down acrylics for skin tone and "blush". Gotta have blush, right??

This one is so cute! I love your flatties, but many are a subject matter for a village set further back in time thank "imagine" my village to be. I think of a village during my childhood. Say late 50's early 60's. This flattie looks like it will fit right in...
Thanks much. my "to do list" is growing
