Sanding Needles

Post by Lynn »

I discovered these handy little sanding needles at the local train and hobby store. I really like them and wanted to pass them along for those who may not have seen these before. I found a web site that carries these just to show you a picture, but I am sure you can get these locally.

I feel so ignorant--what are sanding needles used for? I've never heard of them.

Oh no don’t feel that way, I never heard of them either. I use sandpaper rolled up very tiny to round out my door openings. When I was in a train hobby store I noticed these tiny dowel type tool that has a sandpaper surface. One side is pointed the over cut on a slant.
