Little Halloween House in a Jar

You can't recycle glass around here anymore so I had some extra jars after cleaning out my refrigerator. I decided to use this mason jar as a bell jar for a tiny house. The house is made from a Sizzix die called Tiny Houses. The door is left over from the inner door of the metallic house I posted. The roof is made from off cuts from one of the Sizzix Village rooftop dies. I made a tiny chimney pipe like I did on the last house - rolled up paper with a small cone glued to the top. I included an owl on a branch and then some Halloween charms on the outside of the jar.

I had to tilt it to get it in the jar because of the branches and the overhang of the roof. I glued some crackle-painted finials to the top and the bottom.

Kind of a fun and fast project.
