good morning...
getting ready to prime, paint and glitter...(finally!)...it's easier to do with the base mounted on a small handle...the pictures tell the story...my maker's label will cover the hole made by the screw and the two small holes made by the nails with the heads cut off...
i usually don't mount a painting handle to the body of a project...but if i do...i use a dab of hot glue...it sets quickly and will come loose with a gentle twist and tug...small pieces, like the spire, will be attached to a handle with hot glue...
my very best regards...

thanks to the hot florida sun, the two primer coats of white flat wall paint are dry...i'll dry a few more hours before applying the finished colors...

Howard - thanks for the ongoing project photos, they encourage folks who aren't sure they can from "A" to "B" on their own. . . . .

good morning...
almost ready for mica flakes and glitter...going to add a few snow details to walk and around edge of light blue base...
looks a little bland right now...but two green trees and multi-color stained glass windows will make a big difference...
my very best regards...
howard...here in hot, humid and sunny north florida...
