Well, things are certainly livening up and now a couple of pictures! I'm really glad, because I can no longer keep the website up the way I used to and now everybody can! Thank you for the swell comments. - PT

Hi Papa Ted - this is the first time I ever joined a forum and did a post, so here goes. I have been enjoying your site for quite a few years now and I did order windows and send you a few emails. I learned a lot from your site and want to make sure that you know I appreciated your enthusiasm and research on these little houses. I was pleasantly surprised ( actually thrilled) to find one of my houses selected as House of the Month in October 2008. Your description was right on. It does look like a halloween house. I never touched it, and now I have it listed on Ebay, hopefully it will go to a serious collector who can restore it the correct way. Papa Ted, please take care of yourself.
T.

Hi! Papa Ted - you directed me here and thanks so much! I have been checking your site for quite a while now and was excited to see it had been update, I am sending out prayers for your good health and know that the Christmas spirit that lives within you will, no doubt, be a vehicle to aid your recovery. Know that your fans are thinking of you and miss your witty observations on our putzy treasures!! I still love my houses, but haven't made any new ones lately... maybe this Christmas a few new ones for my son's upcoming wedding. All the best -- sue

Hi, everyone! Just wanted you to know that I've posted my 2011 Christmas mantel display on my website, and I've dedicated it this year to "Papa Ted". He's the guy who got me started on my hobby of collecting vintage cardboard houses: I came across his fabulous website and fell under his spell and the rest is history. I've written continuing "chapters" each year to accompany the mantel villages, so the village saga is pretty long by now. Stop by for a visit!

Here's a link to the Christmas section of my website:

Best wishes of the season to all,
Antoinette
