Yonna, Dolly Toy Company made those big multi-layer cardboard nursery decorations with Mother Goose and Disney characters. They were in Tipp City, about 20 minutes from my house, but I didn't find out they made putz houses (during WWII when Japanese and Germon goods were verboten) until a year after they went out of business. :-(

Cardboard was their "stock in trade," so paper windows was no great stretch. If I could get good photos and precise measurements of each window, I COULD replicate these for future hobbyists. Just saying . . . .

Happy New Year all!

Paul, I've collected some ratty, damaged Dollies to get their windows, doors, etc for Pete to duplicate. I don't think we have them all yet, but I'm sure Pete will sell them due course.

Happy New Year!!!!

I have purchased multiple chapters from Pete Oehmen’s Collectors guide. They are just wonderful, I love them. Each chapter has multiple pictures for each building and detailed information. I was chatting with Pete and he has put together a listing of the Collector’s Guide chapters he has available to purchase. He will give discounts for anyone that wants more than one chapter. Each chapter is a different price because of the amount of pages. You can contact Pete at oehmen@sbcglobal.net
