good afternoon...

here is the "high school" with primer and coat of craft sand...each piece is mounted on a painting stick or held by a clamp...

sure makes painting easier...hope to add some color tomorrow...

my very best regards...howard

good afternoon from a very sunny, hot and humid north florida...

been working on windows, doors and clock face...each is mounted over an opening in a piece of poster board...the openings align with the openings in the school walls...it takes a little time to cut the openings, align each individual piece and secure in place on the poster board...but it's much easier to glue in 5 pieces vs 12 individual pieces...and i know for sure i won't get any glue on the "fuzzy windows" and spoil them...

made the "luffah" trees and have most of the painting done...first time i think i've painted a base and fence the same color...but's that's how the vintage one was done...more pictures later...

my very best regards...howard

greetings to all...

the "high school" is finished...base measures 5" x 7"...overall height including base is 9 3/4"...

i think my version is a little smaller than the original...

really like the "fuzzy windows"...i have plans to use more of them...

just gave the project a "blush of snow" here and there with mica and glitter...no "snow-tex" white this time...

didn't want to add so much surface details that it took away from the window and sand finish...

my very best regards...howard
