The PINKening has begun! :) I just finished making that last bit of coco for this house. Its a BIG house, and I have a feeling it is going to take quite a bit.
Still don't know if it is my favorite color, Im a red head, so Green and I get along real good! :)
Can't wait to share with everybody!

Thanks Howard, hoping to have the house done soon, but then I got to paint up the figures.

This one is definitely taking a bit longer, been working on some other projects alongside this one too..... ;)

I wanted Loralye to help me with the painting, so I set up a station at our Ice Cream table and had her paint the broad part of the base before I flocked it with the coconut. My wife snuck up on us with her camera, so I thought I'd share. :) Pay no attention to the goofy guy at the end...

Good evening to all!

i was just about to say "pay no attention to the man behind the screen"...i think that's the way the line goes...

got to keep this comment related to little houses...so...the house in the storm was a miniature made specifically for the movie...

Hi Brian ...

I just found The Loralye House, read the posts and came upon the latest ones. This is a fabulous legacy for your daughter,
and I cannot wait to see the Big Reveal! And I want to see a picture of Loralye's face when she sees it! (What are you
going to do next year, Dad?)

Hello, and THANK YOU!! :)

I'm getting very close to wrapping this one up. Just working on the figures, they may still take a couple more days, we have had family visiting the last week, so not as much putzing time.
The house isn't going to be so much a surprise as I have been fairly well supervised during the making of the project. I was asked today if I could make a Mrs. Claus for the house to accompany Santa, so that may be a future project after I finish the original plans. Im a little worried the front lawn start to look a little crowded.
Pat, I have NO idea what she is going to ask for next... But I have had a great time making this house with her, so I'm sure we'll be collaborating again! :)

Good Saturday!!

Finished up my daughters house, at least for now.....

She was pretty happy that it was done, and seemed to really like everything, but I was instructed that the cat needed to be pink too. I was trying to make it look like Tom's original, however I fell a little short because the paint which I thought was more orangish turned out to be more brown. I'm going to use a drybrush technique on the kitty next time instead of the airbrush as well. So I haven't glue the kitty down, but Im going to move on to another project for a bit, and revisit it later.
Now I have to find a spot for it in her room...
