here are the card stock window mullions i cut with an xacto knife...not perfect...but close enough for government work...the card stock i had was not red enough...so i painted with bright red craft paint...guess i could have used red foil...may add a coat of high gloss clear over the red paint and see how they look then...

Hi Howard: Great start. I have this building but with a tower and steeple in addition. I always wondered if the HOM might have originally had one.
I found a picture that I had titled Teds Blue Church. Enjoy

I was going to add that the HOM is missing a tower. That house is mine, and later I saw it on ebay with a tower. So Tom's post is correct, mine is missing the tower. Another project to add to my list. Howard's house looks fabulous!

kathi and tom...thanks for the confirmation that there should be a tower...my smaller version of the vintage original will get one...pictures when completed...my very best regards...howard...

good afternoon to all...

the project continues...here are patterns for the tower and steeple along with a photo of the assembled pieces...not shown on the pattern is a small cardboard roof/ceiling for the tower...but it can be seen in the photo...more later...

good afternoon to all...

finished this morning...came in at 7 1/4" tall including the base...textured finish i my "old standby"...birdcage gravel...with a blush of mica and glitter...i'll let the picture tell the rest of the story...

That is so wonderful. The colors are great and so vibrant. I am especially impressed with how you were able to change it midstream so to speak. Lucy
