Brian, agreed, the base on the church looks GREAT. And I think your craftsmanship (which was great to start) is improving on every structure. Thanks for keeping us posted.

Thank You guys so much!!! I'm on a roll of building houses, so I'm trying to decide on my next project. I have one picked out for sure that Tom is helping me with. I think I'm going to try and build one of the giant cocos at some point.
Les, I may build another set of these too. :) They were super fun and there are a few variations on some of the houses that might be fun to reproduce.
I went to dinner with my brother and his girlfriend last night, and they thought I should sell this set, which I was toying with the idea of, mainly because I am out of space to store stuff and I want to keep making more. Since I work from home, most of my storage is eaten up by business stuff. I've had to build three sheds on the side of my little ranch house to hold all my extra junk. But I love looking over and seeing how shiny and colorful they are, so I don't know, it was more a labor of love. :D
I still need to attach my labels, I'll try and get a photo of the underside of one, once they're on.
Also I have to make a village for my daughter, but I was thinking I might let her pick out the houses for it. This year I think I'm going to let her build a village with some of the small flat base originals I have. I have so many of those that I never have space to put them all out.
For now though, just gonna keep making houses!

Good Morning,

Started making 2 - 10th Ave repros, one to replace the one in the above pic that I gave to a friend for Christmas, and another because I love the variations of the original and thought it would be cool to do up a different color scheme.

Gotta say, this is my favorite group of original houses, I know there are cooler ones out there...but....I LOVE THIS SET!!!! :)

brian...there is nothing what so ever wrong with your photos...really nice to see the entire set together...don't you wish you had a string of eight Noma brand tree lights?...or perhaps you do...just imagine...

my very best regards...

Thanks Paul, and Howard,
I do wish I was a better photographer, but its good to know Im getting the job done. :)

Truth be told, I have NEVER lighted up any of my originals or repros. I DO think it would be cool though, and not sure why I never have.....probably because I don't own any of the larger lights. :) I LOVE seeing the houses lighted up in the pictures that I've seen. I may have to make it a goal to light up at least one house in 2014.....
