Speaking of Dolly's Does anyone know what the little metal cleat things are that hold the Dolly bases together?

Would be neat to reproduce or buy them. would like to try to duplicate the cut out version of the base.

I have several of the Dolly houses that have this very base. I will not only trace out the base, but I will try to see if I can somehow "copy" those metal cleats out of something Steve. You're right howard, I have also tried to track them down, but to no avail as well...

Hi Will & Howard
Not sure if this is something you could use. I found these clamps on ebay. I searched out corner fasters, picture frame decorative corner fasters, small trunk jewelry boxes it may lead you to something useful..

Will:
I would love to get some dimensions of the cleats.
I have the start of an idea to make them, but I do not own a really dolly house of my own to
compare to.

Greetings to all today!
I finally dug out my dollys and what a sad bunch these poor girls are in! Oh well, I got the whole lot for less than $20 a few years back. I will be doing a restore on them when I have some free time (HAHAHA!!, that's a joke, see?) Steve-- Here's some pics for you and everyone to take a gander at. I haven't got dimensions on the base yet, but will by the end of the day hopefully. There are actually 2 different sizes! I even had a loose base cleat/clamp, so I gently pulled it off, cleaned it up, and was able to take a few snapshots of it. I'm thinkin' you might be able to engineer one of these out of sode pop can metal maybe?? Also, I went "dolly crazy", learned how to use a design program, and made some windows for myself. So, with no further adieu, here's what I got so far...
