Thanks for the pics of the cleats.

Any chance to see one still in the cardboard from the back side.
I think I can reproduce something pretty close.
Getting a tool to set it to the cardboard will be a bit of research.

The start you have on the windows look great.
What kind of design software do you use to lay them up.
A few dollars would be effort would be well worth it.

I was heading that way. Great minds think alike.

At this point I need to know the diameter of the eyelet part of the cleat.

I will take some more pics and post them here. The program I used was Paint (installed on every PC). Here are the shots of the pasteboard connected to the cleat for you-- Also, I read also that you're needing the diameter of the hole (?) I measured it, and it's exactly 1/8 inch wide.

my guess is the cleat has teeth that go thru the hole and are crimped back to secure the inside of the cardboard?

Yes, that's correct Steve. Kinda like it's been "punched" into the cardboard.

Here's some sheets I printed off at my local Office Depot. I will mount them in a dolly I have here and post a pic or 2! Please comment and let me know what you think my friends. Criticism is welcome!

Thanks Maria! An old dog like me learned a new trick (skill)! Making them was fun. Yes Steve, there's actually (at least of my style/era) more to the "set" that I don't have as of yet. I'll probably just build them when I have some time and collect the rest as funds/availability exists. These putzies were the very 1st of my collection that I ever purchased...
