Good morning…

Pete’s recent post about a homemade tool for applying contact cement…go here...http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forum ... f=4&t=1067…reminded me that I should share this…

My low-tech “drying rack”…it’s a square piece of 1/4” hardware cloth that sits on top of my desk lamp…the gentle heat from the fluorescent bulb really speeds up the setting of glue and drying of paint…so very simple…but it works…unless I have to break out the hairdryer…which I have been know to do…

Howard…

usually patient…except when waiting for paint and glue to dry… :D

I saw the first picture and it took me a minute to see the second one. What a great idea. The only thing is - where are the paint spatters? The lamp is not covered with paint? Probably because you paint so carefully stuff doesn't drip. Thank you for sharing your low tech drying rack.
