Small Coconut House with Foil Roof

Here is a small coconut house with a foil roof. This was my first house with a vaulted entrance and it took a few times before I got this one right. Check out the door there is a curtain in the bottom half. The original curtain is paper, so I took a photo copy of some fabric I had that looked very much like the original. Credit Pete for the coconut, windows and the door.

Lynn...

Wow!...bold choice of colors...contrasting textures, too...coconut, foil, glossy window mullions...have you decided on a tree yet?...luffah or bottle brush?...either one will add even more texture and color!...I like everything about this little house!

You need to make a "flattie" for it...how about a little Dutch milkmaid?...I can see her now...blue dress, yellow vest, white apron and cap, brown shoulder yoke with silver milk jugs...brown wooden shoes...you know the look...

My very best regards...Howard...

Beautiful house. I love the vaulted roof. I haven't done one of those yet, but I would like to.

Thanks everyone

Howard I neglected to mention this was a reproduction, so I can't take any credit for the colors or finishings. But I am working on a tree.

A flattie would be nice I'll have to see what I can do about that :D

Such a well done house Lynn. Pete must have had fun matching those colors.
