As you know, I've started on my Halloween projects for this year's fundraiser for Habitat - "Houses for Habitat". I don't know why, but I love combining books with the cardboard houses. And since I had the perfect box to turn into a book, I made the Boxwood Manor. I tried to paint the background to look like twilight but it ended up looking like a badly colored rainbow so I had to darken it after I had already glued the house down.
The outside cover of the book and inside facing page are not done yet. Waiting on inspiration for that, but the house is done. I drew the windows with a fine tipped marker and painted the inside yellow for some bright color and glued them on the house.
