What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Maria,

I just love this. I think I will make some characters using this technique. I have always wanted to buy really nice crepe paper (partly because I love paper - any kind of paper), but I didn't because I didn't have a project for it. Now I do. Thank you for finding all these incredible links.
