Pastel Easter House

I only made one Easter house this year. I made it for a friend of mine at work who's granddaughters happen to see my houses from 2 years ago on her Facebook page. She said they just kept talking about them so I decided I could make one in time for Easter.

The funny thing about this house is the colors. I picked bright Spring colors that are not my usual palette, but I think the little girls will like them. I think the colors look like they would actually fit on Maria's beautiful Easter display.

Amazing work Lucy such awesome colors!! I love how the tips of the roof shingles are lighter than the rest of the blue....great little detail!!

The girls get the house today so I will hear how they liked it today. Brian mentioned the white tips on the shingles - I just started using a white gel pen - Signo Uniball White Gel Pen. It is wonderful for adding white details.
