The Christmas Spirit House

Post by Lynn »

This pink house is a reproduction from the 1930,s that Pete calls The Christmas Spirit House.

The Santa going down the chimney and the front door including the snowman is a composition Pete made. Notice the windows they are gold silkscreen on blue cellophane.

All together it measures 6 inches wide X 3 5/8 inches deep X 4 5/8 inches tall. The house is course gravel painted pink and then sprinkled with some mica flakes, and the roof is coconut. I used sand on the base.

The first picture is the original, the next 2 are mine.

As one who enjoys making repros.
This one is over the top.

I'm assuming the two cast figures are from Peter.

Great job.

Great addition to your collection.

It looks so nice Lynn. I love the gravel finsh with the mica added - what an authentic look. Just lovely.

Thanks everyone.

Steve, the figures are Pete's creation.
