Hello everyone!

Here is a picture of the set of 8 houses that I mentioned in my welcome post. I was looking for this particular set for a while and this set finally came up on eBay a bit before Christmas.

The colors are so fresh. Have they been restored?

What a great set of houses, i really like these. I agree with Maria the colors are so vibrant.

It would be a great project to reproduce this village.

They have not been restored, but they are still very colorful. Plus this pic was taken with my "good" camera, so it shows the colors very well. They have bumps and bruises and some thin/missing spots in the coating here and there, but it's a great set.

I saw some pictures of some of these houses a while back and I did a bunch of online searching to find information on these particular houses (before I actually found the real set) and I found this particular set of 8 in the 1930's history section.

And my first practice house was of one of these. I found the pattern on the paperglitterglue site! I was planning on starting a separate post for my first build!

Gosh these are simply fantastic.

I have always liked the one with the two even peaks in the upper right corner of your photo.

What a great set of houses! I've never even seen a real vintage Putz house, but one day I will. I hope to go to the Golden Glow convention sometime and there I will definitely get to see some.
