Flagstone House done in glitter…

Greetings to all...

I made this house over the last handful of weeks for a longtime friend...

Individual flagstones were randomly painted then the lower edges outlined with a sharp pencil to create a shadow line...

To simulate the diamond mullion Tudor windows, black fiberglass window screen was carefully sprayed with white paint...the other window details were made with very narrow white tape, adhesive address labels and red acetate...

Dollar store green pot scrubber pads were used to make the hedge...

Since this is a custom piece, no patterns are available...

Howard...

What a fine looking flagstone, Howard. Seems like each small or medium sized town in the south has at least one example of a flagstone on the road into town. I always look for them. Thanks for sharing pics of this wonderful creation.

This house is so beautiful. The glitter just accentuates everything so beautifully.

It's really a treasure.
