A simple wooden tower

Post by DCrowe »

This German toy was made as a model train accessory. The simplicity of the design would make it easy for the experts here to create in cardboard. I am not trying to sell this item. I buy other toys from the seller but thought this worthy of sharing here.

David…

As Arte Johnson used to say…”Very interesting”…(guess I’m showing my age for sure)…I see something “very interesting “ as well…lots of possibilities…with just a few small details and putz inspired touches…where is my cardboard?…Thanks for posting…

My very best regards…

YES, the charm lies in the simplicity of this design.

Nice!
It looks like the artist used string glued to cardboard for the thatched roof.
Great idea

Greetings to all...

I've been working on my little glitter house cardboard version of this simple wooden tower...I've actually turned it into a clock tower and plan to post in September...so stay tuned...and thanks again, DCrowe for providing the inspiration...

Note...I have a new project to post around the first of August...it's not a house...but it's definitely a very recognizable Christmas theme item...and is one of the most satisfying pieces I've made in quite a while...stay tuned... ;)

My very best regards...

Howard...
