Here's a pic of a set of houses I've been working on.
I have a few more in the works.
All the house as small enough to hang from a tree. And have a smaller size hole in the back to allow a bulb from a string on the tree to light up the house.
My houses in no order:
Small house: Tried my hand at designing a house.
Church: Took the small house and added a Steeple.
Modern Looking house: From a quick sketch Howard Posted.
Toad House: Reduced the size of one of Howard's patterns.
Barn: Also reduced on of Howard's patterns.
Windmill: Another reduction of one of Howard's cool patterns.
Hacienda: Another small version of Howard's patterns. This was the first time I tried a sand finish to simulate stucco. I really like how it turned out.
I need to finish up 3 more. My goal was to have a 10 house set.
BTW, how many times I typed the name "Howard". Thanks Howard for all the cool patterns to use.
Steve

Re: Ornament House Village
Stunning little tree houses. I have such in vintage and one year put them all over it and had a tree putz! These are very charming and lots of fun. It carries on a tradition from way bck when. We had small houses around 1948 that went on the tree and one had a porch rail! Sorta cool little thing.
