2013 FAMILY ROOM CHRISTMAS TREE AND VILLAGE

Well here are some shots of my 2013 Family Room Christmas Tree--this is the big one and truly a labor of love--but it would not have been possible--like all of my trees--without the amazing houses of Karl Fey and Howard Lamey--and all the inspiration and tips that I have gotten from you all for many years now.
Let me cite just one example; I love trains--and every year I pull out a cheap battery operated train that does the trick for the season--but oh what a pain--cheap trains, cheap track, equal de-railments and some slight aggravation. Somebody, somewhere on this site, inspired me to make the round "rig" you'll see in the photos--I've forgotten who it was but thank you! This allowed a five dollar battery train to go round and round forever to my delight! And thru the tunnel that Howard Lamey made. If my finances aren't tested again this year, there WILL be a real train...but I know that even if money has to go elsewhere, I'll be inspired again by somebody, somewhere, on these forums. Merry Christmas. You can see more close-ups here http://www.flickr.com/photos/22283683@N ... 171093283/
