Making a "Mr. and Mrs. Cardboard Flattie"...

greetings to all...

here are two more "flatties" that i have in the works...and i'm slowly getting closer to my goal of at least a dozen "flatties"...

the next step is to add the usual "layering" details similar to the other "flatties"...hat brims, collars, gloves, etc...

i also have a boy and a girl to go along with these two...i'll post them later...

project update...cutting done except for one base...added some layering details...both ready for primer soon...

Greetings to all...

"Mr. and Mrs. Flattie" were finished up late yesterday afternoon...but the glass glitter on the base and the final coats of high gloss clear spray finish had to dry overnight...

I did do some additional layering of details and had to cut away part of the dress near the hem for "Mrs. Flattie" so that the look was more refined and not quite as rural as the original pattern...
