Thanks to Howard, the North Pole has a new look: the winter farm. I loved his Shepherd and Sheep flattie, made it, and it changed

What do you know!...someone does use my patterns!...the "cardboard flatties" (shepard with sheep and lamplighter) are in very good company...they're surrounded with true vintage pieces...yet look right at home...

the "miniature houses" in the background really add depth...are they the ones that "you know who" made?...bet at least some of them are...

I'm very impressed with the mountain background, too!...

Howard, as you probably recognized, my sister Barbara made the mini putz houses in the foreground. The ones on the back ridge
are teensy jobbers, made for a dollhouse mantelpiece putz. They're there for two reasons: perspective, and to contrast with Barbara's
fabulous detailed houses.
