Greetings to all…

OK, “Dolly Fans“…here’s the 16th “Dolly” inspired project in the series…it’s another church…I’ll let the pattern and the photos below tell the story for now…

Note…the image of the vintage original below is slightly distorted and stretched taller…the windows and the tower are not actually that skinny in proportion to the width…

Note…there were probably a couple (or more) versions of this church…Lynn recently sent me a picture of one without the entry door and cross overlay on the front of the tower…I’ll post the picture of it later this week…

By the way…here’s a link to the first “dolly” house reproduction project...it’s simple, single peak house…

My very best regards…

Howard…

That is a brilliant pink color there. Are you going to use a similar color? It would be dramatically beautiful. I like the addition of the entry door and cross overlay. I think that is a nice detail that completes the house better.

I look forward to seeing your church completed. It's always fun to look at the forum and see that Howard has posted something.

greetings to all...

here's a work-in-progress shot...not glamorous by any means...

Lynn suggested i consider doing the entrance and the cross overlay in silver...sounds like a good idea to me...

i'm also trying not to duplicate the glitter color combinations i've used on the other "dolly" inspired reproductions i've built...
